Role Overview
This is a hybrid role combining team leadership and estimating across both tree surgery and landscaping projects. You will oversee site teams delivering arboricultural and landscaping works, while also managing client relationships, preparing quotations, and supporting project planning.
You will typically split your time between:

On-site leadership (approx. 2 days/week): Supervising teams across tree surgery, planting, fencing, turfing, and civils.

Estimating client liaison (approx. 3 days/week): Conducting site visits, preparing quotes, and supporting business development.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
-
Supervise multi-skilled teams delivering arboricultural and landscaping works.

Oversee installation of trees, turf, fencing, drainage, retaining walls, and ecological features.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including LOLER, PUWER, and site-specific RAMS.

Coordinate logistics and plant movements (excavators, telehandlers, chippers, augers, etc.).

Monitor equipment and ensure inspections and maintenance are up to date.

Estimating Client Support:

Conduct site assessments and provide expert advice to clients.

Prepare accurate and detailed quotations for tree surgery and landscaping projects.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Support CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations), invoicing, and budget tracking.

Identify new business opportunities and contribute to service development.
Essential Qualifications Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in arboriculture, landscaping, or civils.
