Your role
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you’ll keep outdoor spaces looking their best. You’ll work independently and as part of a team, using powered equipment and hand tools to deliver high standards every day.
What you’ll do

Grass cutting using ride-on and pedestrian mowers

Shrub bed maintenance, hedge pruning, and weeding

Your new role
Lead a skilled team delivering fencing and landscaping projects across highways, public realm, and green spaces. You’ll coordinate workloads, uphold safety and quality standards, and work closely with our Grounds Maintenance and Arboriculture teams to create safe, attractive environments.

Role Overview
You’ll lead the delivery of multi-site fencing and landscaping projects, managing planned and reactive works across highways, public realm, and green spaces. You’ll ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, meet client KPIs, and coordinate operational teams and resources.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Supervise teams delivering fencing, landscaping, and seasonal works.

Planning & Scheduling: Implement programmes and manage reactive works via CAFM (Joblogic or similar).

Your Role
As an Arborist / Climber, you’ll carry out a wide range of tree work, from precision pruning to complex dismantling, ensuring safety and quality at every stage. You’ll work as part of a skilled team on highways, public realm, and green spaces.
Key Responsibilities

Lead or support arborist teams to deliver scheduled work programmes.

Perform aerial tree work: climbing, aerial rescue, pruning, rigging, and chainsaw use from rope & harness or MEWP.

Carry out ground operations: branch removal, crown reduction, and powered pole pruner use.

Handle windblown trees and emergency dismantling safely.

If you’ve got 1–2 years’ experience or have completed college-level arboriculture and want to become a confident climber, we’ll train you, support you, and give you a clear pathway into a full Climber role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working in professional 2–3 person teams, you’ll support our Arborists on a variety of tree work across highways, public realm and green spaces.
You will:
